GPS tracking, ELD data, predictive ETAs — how modern freight technology gives shippers full visibility into their supply chain in real time.
Real-time freight visibility has gone from a nice-to-have to a competitive necessity. Shippers who can see where their freight is — and get early warning when something goes wrong — respond faster and build more reliable supply chains.
Modern visibility goes beyond 'your truck is on the way.' It includes GPS position of the carrier every 15–30 minutes, ETA predictions based on current location and traffic, automated exception alerts for unexpected stops or late running, and digital proof of delivery with time-stamped GPS confirmation.
ELD mandates require every commercial truck to have a connected device. Freight visibility platforms (project44, Fourkites, Macropoint) aggregate ELD data from thousands of carriers into a single dashboard. IZY Logistics connects to these networks through our TMS at izylogistics.net.
Early exception alerts allow you to communicate with consignees before a late delivery becomes a problem. Accurate ETAs allow receiving facilities to optimize dock scheduling. Complete transit history reduces disputes about arrival time and condition.
Every IZY shipment includes a direct tracking link sent at dispatch. Our team monitors active loads and proactively contacts you if we detect a potential service issue before it becomes a delivery failure.
